This CRITICAL FASHION film aims to raise AWARENESS of everyone’s responsibility when it comes to fast fashion consumerism and its sides effects. We want to trigger attention and empower the viewer to let go of old buying habits and give a chance to sustainable and ethical consumption. We are not against fashion but we want to bring change and spread the idea that it is possible, if each of us is changing on his her own.
THE SATIRE, A POWERFUL TOOL FOR COMMUNICATION. Irony has been shown to be a strong way to create compelling scenes. It’s by following the codes of satire that PAY LATER depicts the story of two adolescents being brainwashed by a new mysterious trend. This dystopian fiction is mixed with the aesthetics of a fashion film and tends to interrogate the viewer about his/her own habits regarding media exposure and consumption.
