She graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and studied Applied Arts to the Wall at Escola Llotja. She combines illustration and comics, and her drawings have appeared on the covers of “Babelia”, the cultural supplement of “El País”, as well as in international outlets such as “The New York Times”, “The Economist”, “The New Yorker”, “Berliner Zeitung”, “The Washington Post”, among others.
“El buen padre” (2020) won the award for Best Emerging Author from the Spanish Association of Comics Critics, and was included in the list of the 100 best national comics by “Rockdeluxe” and “Jot Down”. It was also nominated at the Barcelona Comic Fair in the Best New Work category in 2021.
The book has been translated into French by Casterman and into Turkish by Beta Basim Yayin Dagitim.
“Chacales” is her second comic (2022) and received the “El Ojo Crítico 2022” award in the comics category. It was also nominated for Best Work at the 41st edition of the Barcelona Comic Fair. She was part of the exhibition *Constelación gráfica* at the CCCB (2022–2023), dedicated to experimental and avant-garde comics, and also took part in the exhibition “Perdona, estoy hablando” at CentroCentro Madrid. She won the 2024 Finestres Catalan Comic Prize.
“For me, teaching is not only about transmitting knowledge and experience; it is also about conveying enthusiasm and passion for the creative process itself. From the search for references to the experience of sharing ways of seeing and understanding the world around us with colleagues in the profession. Something essential for me is being able to share and create networks in this process —I believe it is fundamental for stimulating creativity.”
