Ivan Garriga is an audiovisual director, producer, and post-producer with a career spanning photography, advertising, documentary, and museum installations. The founder of Pijama Studio and co-founder of Caapsai, he has combined creativity and technology to redefine workflows between film, advertising, and artificial intelligence. A university professor since 2018 and future co-director of the Master’s in Advanced Audiovisual Creation, he works at the frontier between art, post-production, and emerging new audiovisual languages.

Pijama Studio is a creative audiovisual studio founded by Ivan Garriga, specializing in advertising, fiction, music videos, and hybrid projects that blend the real and the digital. It combines direction, post-production, and visual experimentation to create pieces with their own unique identity and narrative.
Caapsai is an innovation lab for artificial intelligence applied to the audiovisual field. It develops workflows and tools that integrate AI, VFX, and human creativity to explore the new languages of contemporary production.

“Ivan Garriga approaches teaching from a practical and transversal perspective, where technique and creativity coexist with critical reflection on the role of technology in art. In his classes, he promotes project-based learning using real-world projects, connecting the industry with experimentation. He champions an open, collaborative, and future-oriented pedagogy that pushes students to develop their own criteria, adapt to change, and understand AI and audiovisual media as an extension of creative thought.”
