Jor Ros is a Mexican visual artist, designer, and art director currently based in Barcelona. He holds a degree in Product Design and a Master’s in Illustration from ELISAVA.
His body of work focuses on strong and bold narrative visuals through his understanding of color, abstraction, and dynamic compositions.
He works with international clients in various fields: Editorial, Packaging, Art Toys, Character Design for Animation, and Video games & Apparel.
His clients include Adidas, Netflix, The Washington Post, Nike, Vice, Bloomsbury, Random House, Virgin Atlantic, Superplastic & others.
He founded Jor Ros Studio in 2014, where he developed his career and professional vision, focusing on the international applied illustration market.
He often combines the roles of Freelance, Consultant, and Art Director, leading design and illustration teams on larger-scale projects.
Since 2024, Jor has been part of Otherly Studio as Art Director.
A production company based in USA focused on the development of multiplatform IPs, with an emphasis on film, graphic novels, animation, and video games.
