Iñigo Bujedo Aguirre

Teaches outdoor photography

I hold a degree in Journalism from the University of the Basque Country. I started my career as a photojournalist before I moved to London where I obtained an MA in Communications and Photography from Goldsmiths College followed by an internship at Magnum Photos.I began teaching photography at Goldsmiths. I continued my education with various photography workshops, notably with Koldo Chamorro and Mark Power.

The opening of the Guggenheim Bilbao was the beginning of my career as an architectural photographer thereafter working for architects, designers and international publications.

I am an architectural, interior design and documentary photographer, working for a varied portfolio of clients which include architectural and  interior design studios and high end real estate companies. I continue to work on personal projects within the realm of the urban and the built environment. I am a regular contributor to international magazines and publications. Three times nominated for best international architectural photographer, my work has been exhibited among others at the Architecture Venice Biennale, the AA Architecture Association and the London Architecture Festival.

.

“It is often said that a good architectural photograph is one that provides the illusion of experiencing the space it depicts. From an interdisciplinary perspective, my classes focus on architecture and the urban environment as the grand stage of life. Providing students with personal close guidance and the theoretical and technical framework necessary to encourage critical thinking, in order to help them to find their own voice and to develop personal creative projects and original perspectives on the visual representation of architecture, interior design, and the built environment.”
