Luis Martínez Guereño, Norma Editorial

Luis Martínez Guereño (San Sebastián, 1986) is an editor and project/product manager specializing in business strategy, marketing, and publishing.

Linked to the publishing sector since 2011, he began working for Penguin Random House and on his own projects before joining Norma Editorial in 2014 as an editor. Since 2017, he has held the position of Editorial Director. Throughout his career, he has edited graphic novels, art books, and illustrated albums, as well as projects by dozens of national authors.

In addition to his work as an editor, he is an active speaker at national and international industry conferences, events, and university courses. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master’s in Strategic Management from the University of Deusto, as well as a Master’s in Publishing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

With over 40 years of history, Norma Editorial is an independent comic book and illustrated book publisher based in Barcelona. Founded in 1977 by Rafael Martínez, the company’s president, Norma Editorial is made up of a team of more than 30 people and operates in publishing, distribution, representation, and retail through its bookstore brand Norma Comics.
Many of the most prominent names in the international comic scene have appeared in its publications, and the company has also become a key reference in manga publishing.
